Activision’s unveiled their upcoming title, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The trailer that served as the beefy part of the reveal gave players exactly what they wanted; an incredible, action-packed adventure that revealed the power of Task Force 141 while heavy metal played in the background of the reveal.
It seems that Activision and Infinity Ward have heard what the players want and deliver just that.
This new game will see what Activision calls “immersive, world-class multiplayer” as well as an expansion of the fan-favorite Special Ops game mode. Its campaign will see Task Force 141 galloping the globe through Asia, the Americas, and Europe as they try to take down new enemies.
The all-new Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 comes out later this year and will feature a dynamic experience.
An all-new mobile experience that will bring Call of Duty: Warzone to players on the go (in development).
One unified engine across the franchise beginning with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0.
RICOCHET Anti-Cheat will release on day one of Modern Warfare 2 and the new Warzone.
Call of Duty is coming back to Steam on PC starting with Modern Warfare 2.
The current Warzone game will be separate from Warzone 2.0 which will also feature its own new progression system.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Battle.net and Steam).
Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is scheduled for release later this year in October.
