Intriguingly, traces of the abandoned spell can still be found within the game, like vestiges of an unrealized dream. Vincke noted, “there are still traces” of Dispel Magic in the game, reflecting moments when the developers envisioned its integration and still yearned to explore its possibilities. However, the stark reality was that incorporating this spell “would have doubled the size of the game just to support that one spell properly.”
