Switching on a Light in a Room Painted With World’s Blackest Paint

by ZeeshanN

The Action Lab Man, James Orgill, chose to see for himself. After creating a small room, he totally painted the interior using KoPro Musou Black Paint. While most black paints soak between 94% and 98% of visible light, Musou Black soaks up to 99.4%.

As James enters the room, he seems to be getting smaller, and once he closes the door, he vanishes altogether. When he turns on a lightbulb, it’s the only source of light, therefore making shadows that weren’t present in the unpainted room. This is because the paint blocks out the reflected light we’re used to.
