Seinfeld series left Hulu in June and now it is coming to Netflix, They acquired the rights to the show back in 2019, but there was no word on when it would come to the streaming service… until today. Netflix has announced that all 180 episodes of the comedy series will be available on October 1st!
Jerry Seinfeld joked in a statement:
“Larry [David] and I are enormously grateful to Netflix for taking this chance on us. It takes a lot of guts to trust two schmucks who literally had zero experience in television when we made this thing. We really got carried away, I guess. I didn’t realize we made so many of them. Hope to recoup god knows how many millions it must have taken to do. But worth all the work if people like it. Crazy project.”
Seinfeld played a fictional version of himself in the series, and he starred alongside Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Richards, and Jason Alexander. The show is based on four friends living in New York City as they lament life, struggle with romantic relationships, and get into sticky and hilarious situations.
Seinfeld is one of my all-time favorites and a hit comedy series and the comedy in it never gets old, Seinfeld’s one-liners are brilliant! I’ll be looking forward to finally being able to watch it again. Enjoy the promo spot below.
