Samuel L. Jackson is coming back to his role as Nick Fury in the upcoming Marvel Studios series Secret Invasion. The actor released a teaser on Instagram letting the world know about his return to MCU role with some photos.
One photo shows off Fury’s signature facial hairpieces. A second photo shows Jackson wearing a shirt showing an artistic depiction of Fury clutching the Captain Marvel signal beeper. The photos came with the following note:
“Guess what time it is! Back in the box, just in The Nick of time!
The Secret Invasion series “is based on Fury and Talos — who first met during the events of Captain Marvel — and a faction of shape-shifting Skrulls who have been infiltrating Earth for years.”
Jackson is joined by Ben Mendelsohn who will be back in the role of the Skrull character Talos. Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Christopher McDonald have also been cast in the series.
