Razer has revealed the all-new Huntsman V2 keyboard packed with second-generation optical switches Razer 8k HyperPolling Technology, and Doubleshot PBT keycaps. Razer has also improved the acoustics thanks to player and community feedback and the extension of a silicon sound dampener, to overcome the ‘clack’ of the key bottoming out during use. Razer has also added lubrication on the switches and stabilizers, providing the design with “even smoother operation and increased noise reduction” says Razer.
Razer Huntsman V2 will cost you around $189.99 for the Clicky Purple Switch version, $199.99 for the Linear Red Switch version, and the Razer Huntsman V2 Tenkeyless keyboard is priced at $149.99 for the Clicky Purple Switch and $159.99 for the Linear Red Switch.
“Raise the bar for keyboard performance, feel and acoustics with the all-new Razer Huntsman V2 and Huntsman V2 TKL. Armed with our lightning-fast optical switches and doubleshot PBT keycaps, these tournament-ready keyboards will have you dominating the competition. Now available in both the quick, snappy Razer Clicky Optical Switches and the Gen-2 Razer Linear Optical Switches with sound dampeners for a better sound profile”
“Also announced today is the Huntsman V2 Tenkeyless keyboard, the leaner, lighter little brother to the Huntsman V2. Mirroring many of the features of the full-sized Huntsman V2, the Huntsman V2 Tenkeyless eschews the number pad, dial, and media keys in favor of portability, but retains the new features and upgrades seen in the Huntsman V2 including the new Razer Linear Optical Switches Gen-2, Razer HyperPolling Technology for true 8000 Hz polling, Doubleshot PBT keycaps, sound dampening measures and ergonomic wrist rest.
The Huntsman V2 Tenkeyless also features a detachable USB-C cable for ease of transport for players on the go and is fully compatible with Razer Synapse 3 for up to 16.8 million color customization and on-board hybrid memory for macro and settings storage.”
