Digital Cybercherries, the renowned game development studio, has recently announced the creation of an upcoming horror game that is bound to give players an adrenaline rush like never before. Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed P.T. and leveraging the cutting-edge Unreal Engine 5, Paranormal Tales promises to be a next-gen horror experience that is both immersive and terrifying.

One of the standout features of this game is the use of a “found footage” perspective from body cams, phones, and VHS cameras. Players will get to experience multiple tragic tales of individuals who have gone missing, as they navigate through haunting environments that will test their resolve and fear. The latest trailer, courtesy of IGN, offers a glimpse of the spine-chilling gameplay that awaits, with a haunted modern home setting the stage for a sinister creature to hunt down the player.

Although the footage is currently a pre-alpha build and subject to change, the game’s use of Unreal Engine 5 is immediately evident, showcasing impressive visuals and a high level of detail. Last year’s announcement trailer already hinted at the game’s potential, featuring a lost man in the woods searching for his dog and hinting at the game’s penchant for delivering major P.T. vibes.

Paranormal Tales is currently in development for PC via Steam, and its release is highly anticipated among horror game enthusiasts. With its intense gameplay, impressive visuals, and innovative use of technology, the game is set to deliver a horror experience that will leave players on the edge of their seats.
