Peacock has released the first trailer for its pandemic-set horror-thriller Sick, which was co-written and produced by Scream franchise creator Kevin Williamson. The movie also comes from Blumhouse and Miramax.
In the movie, as the pandemic brings the world to a halt, Parker (Gideon Adlon) and her best friend Miri (Bethlehem Million) decide to quarantine at the family lake house alone—or so they think.
As you’ll see, what’s considered to be a relaxing pandemic getaway turns into a total nightmare when someone with some killing rage issues ruins everything! The movie seems to be getting some amazing reviews calling it a “sleek horror Mystery,” “scary as hell,” “relentless,” “whip-smart,” and more.
The movie was directed by John Hyams (Alone) from a script by Williamson and Katelyn Crabb, with Marc Menchaca (The Outsider) and Jane Adams (Twin Peaks) rounding out the cast.
Sick is set to stream on Peacock next Friday, January 13th.
