It is brightly colored bullet mayhem and it is from the popular indie publisher Team17 who have teamed up with developers Veewo Games in their soon-to-release title Neon Abyss. This colorful pixel art game is prepared to release on July 14th on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, but today they released a free demo for players on both PC and Nintendo Switch.
Take on the role of a member of ‘Grim Squad’ – a task force set-up by Hades himself to get into the Abyss and defeat the New Gods. As you run ‘n’ gun your way through the action-adventure into the abyss, you will face saiyan-like skills as each death will give yourself a more empowered. However, each run through these evolving dungeons will present a unique system that will make each run an interesting experience and every decision alter the ruleset.
