LEGO has unleashed the largest Lego model to date today, a 1:200 scale replica of the Titanic. This new model comes in at a mountainous 9,090 pieces total, just shying the last record holder of the Colosseum with 9,036 pieces.
This model will be able to break apart into three different pieces to enable you to see the inner workings. These will include interiors like the grand staircase, a smoking lounge, and a boiler room. The engines can be taken out and when inside the model will have pistons that move when the propellers are rotated.
That’s not the only interactive piece though, there are also anchors that can be pulled up and lowered as well as a mechanism for regulating the tension of the lines that run between the masts. The amount of details is insane on this thing.
It will cost $630 and will be available on November 8.
