A surprise to Kingdom Hearts fans has unveiled this weekend, Square Enix announced Kingdom Hearts 4 and they even had a trailer to share! This great reveal came during the 20th Anniversary event for the game franchise.
It’s fantastic that it’s been 20 years since this franchise was launched. I honestly wasn’t expecting to see another Kingdom Hearts game for a long time after Kingdom Hearts 3, which was released in 2019. The game took an incredibly long time to make! Then last year, series director Tetsuya Nomura managed expectations making it seem like there might not even be a new game in development.
