Keanu Reeves will be releasing the first issue of his new comic book series BRZRKR and now he’s narrating the first trailer for the series. Reeves joined up with co-writer Matt Kindt (Folklords), artist Ron Garney (Wolverine), colorist Bill Crabtree (BRPD), and letterer Clem Robins (Hellboy) to bring this extremely gory comic to reality. The comic is intense, very bloody, and definitely something that fans of more hardcore media will appreciate.
The man known only as B. is half-mortal and half-god, cursed and compelled to violence…even at the sacrifice of his sanity. But after wandering the world for centuries, B. may have finally found a refuge – working for the U.S. government to fight the battles too violent and too dangerous for anyone else. In exchange, B. will be granted the one thing he desires – the truth about his endless blood-soaked existence…and how to end it.
You can read BRZRKR #1 on March 3 with physical copies at local comic shops and digital copies made available from comiXology, Google Play, iBooks, and Madefire. The main cover art comes from Rafael Grampá with versions available from Mark Brooks, Dan Mora, Lee Bermejo, and more. A 1-in-1000 variant cover will also be available from Jonboy Meyers and they are signed by Reeves.
