James Cameron’s AVATAR is Coming To Theaters in HDR, Trailer Released!

To celebrate the release of Avatar: The Way of Water, 20th Century Studios is re-releasing James Cameron‘s Avatar in theaters at the end of September. This version of Avatar will come in 4K HDR both in cinemas and IMAX theaters.

The studio released a trailer promoting the re-release of the movie, which stars Sam Worthington as Jake Sully, and Zoe Saldana as Neytiri, along with Stephen Lang, Michelle Rodriguez, Sigourney Weaver, CCH Pounder, Wes Studi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, and Giovanni Ribisi.

“a paraplegic ex-Marine who arrives on the planet Pandora and, as an Avatar – a human mind in an alien body – finds himself in a desperate fight for his survival and that of the indigenous species called Na’vi.”

20th Century will re-release Cameron’s Avatar in theaters starting on September 23rd, 2022. Avatar: The Way of Water will come open in theaters on December 16th, 2022.
