Google Stadia Will Be Available On More Devices Soon

by ZeeshanN

If you wanted to play Stadia games on your TV you have to use a Chromecast Ultra device or connect a computer to your TV. It was announced this week that Stadia is expanding its compatible devices to the Chromecast with Google TV and certain Android TV OS devices this month.  Now you can get ready to use these devices to play games via Stadia starting June 23.

    • Chromecast with Google TV

    • Hisense® Android Smart TVs (U7G, U8G, U9G)

    • Nvidia® Shield TV

    • Nvidia® Shield TV Pro

    • Onn™ FHD Streaming Stick and UHD Streaming Device

    • Philips® 8215, 8505, and OLED 935/805 Series Android TVs

  • Xiaomi® MIBOX3 and MIBOX4

If your Android TV OS device is not on the list, you can opt into experimental support and play Stadia that way. All you need to do is install the Stadia app from the Play Store, launch it, and then hit “Continue” at the opt-in screen. Android TV OS devices will allow you to use a Stadia Controller or other compatible Bluetooth controllers.
