Caviar, the company that releases amazing and very expensive gold iPhones, announced it was extending the Midas touch to the PlayStation 5 in January.
The website did not reveal the price for its 18-karat plated console with matching alligator leather-clad controllers, and it’s probably because the money you’ll pay for one of these consoles is a headline in itself.
Caviar has revealed that it will be making just nine of these golden PS5 consoles, with each will cost you at a staggering $499,999 (£359,053).
The console is available from Caviar’s website , but it will cost you half a million dollars to throw on a shiny new gaming console.
According to Caviar’s press release, the consoles will take four months to make, and the company says it’s been working with a gold jewelry specialist contractor to make a test sample. Caviar says it has 1,500 people who wants one so far.
