Marvel Studios released the first trailer for the upcoming animated series I Am Groot today at Comic-Con! It looks like a charming and fun series with some wild and ridiculous moments that I’m sure fans will love, especially the kids!
Vin Diesel is reprising his role as the voice of Groot, and it was also revealed during the panel that Bradley Cooper will be returning to voice Rocket Raccoon, which is fantastic! Guardians of the Galaxy franchise director James Gunn is executive producing the show.
I Am Groot is a series of five shorts that will concentrate on “Baby Groot” as he gets into shenanigans, and it will introduce fans to many new and unusual characters. The poster features Groot just chillin’ and listening to Peter Quill’s Walkman while two tiny CG creatures watch him.
Marvel Studios will premier I Am Groot on Disney+ on August 10th, 2022.
