Director Roland Emmerich is making a new disaster movie that is based on the destruction of the world, but this one is somewhat different because it involves the Moon and the mysteries that the government has been concealing in the Moon.
Check out the five minutes of the movie, and it shows us the start of how everything goes bad so fast. Astronaut Brian Harper (Patrick Wilson) is out on a spacewalk repairing some satellite stuff and speaking about the lyrics to Toto’s rock classic “Africa” with his co-worker Alan Marcus (Frank Fiola) and his fellow astronaut Jo Fowler (Halle Berry) when all of a sudden a strange, black space wave comes ripping through the shuttle, and it arrived from the moon.
In Moonfall, Moon is on a crash course with Earth. It’s been told that “a mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it.” In the story “with mere weeks before impact and the world on the brink of annihilation, NASA executive and former astronaut Jo Fowler (Berry) is convinced she has the key to saving us all – but only one astronaut from her past, Brian Harper (Wilson) and a conspiracy theorist K.C. Houseman (Bradley) believes her. These unlikely heroes will mount an impossible last-ditch mission into space, leaving behind everyone they love, only to find out that our Moon is not what we think it is.”
Moonfall will be released in theaters on February 4th, 2022.
