Some exciting news has just been released for Disney fans! Disney is getting into its treasure trove of franchises and serving up some better sequels! During today’s earnings call, Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that their animation production teams are hard at work developing hit movies such as Frozen 3, Toy Story 5, and Zootopia 2!
Iger said: “Today I’m so pleased to announce that we have sequels in the works from our animation studios to some of our most popular franchises, Toy Story, Frozen, and Zootopia. we’ll have more to share about these productions soon. but this is a great example of how we’re leaning into our unrivaled brands and franchises.”
After Disney’s last animated movie, Strange World, flopped at the box office, it makes sense that Disney is going to be sticking to the usual franchises that work. So, fans will be able to love more wild adventures, heartwarming moments, and time with their famous characters.
