Activision is serving up a new phase of free online play for Call of Duty: Vanguard, allowing all PSN accounts to claim and play the multiplayer part of the game from the PlayStation Store. Available starting tomorrow, the offer spreads until Tuesday, 24th May 2022. Every map and mode currently in the game will be available to you, but you will have to commit some time to download the client.

The Call of Duty blog post notes how you’ll be able to check out the new Mayhem multiplayer map, which will come as part of Season Three. “Despite the map’s tiny layout, you’ll feel absolutely gargantuan as you battle through a small-scale replica of a metropolis. Fight among the skyscrapers in the center of the map, surrounded by an outer path where you can traverse an ocean or move off-set.”
