Two highly anticipated PC games have recently integrated native support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) 3, enriching the gaming experience for players worldwide. Among these titles are Teyon’s acclaimed “RoboCop: Rogue City” and Gunfire’s immersive sequel, “Remnant II.”

RoboCop: Rogue City,” recognized for its outstanding performance by clinching the Best Shooter of 2023 Award, rolled out a recent patch aimed at refining the gameplay experience. This update, deployed just yesterday, introduces several enhancements, including improved game stability, rectification of the Sony Dualshock detection issue, resolution of localization discrepancies, and the incorporation of AMD FSR 3.03. Notably, the patch also addresses specific in-game quests, such as the Tattoo Shop quest, alongside various minor bug fixes.

Meanwhile, the update for “Remnant II” boasts a more substantial changelog, showcasing the game’s commitment to enhancing player engagement. In addition to introducing crossplay functionality and launching the thrilling Aberration Domination Event, which promises captivating gameplay experiences until March 5th, the patch discreetly integrates AMD FSR 3 support. Although not prominently featured in the changelog, players can now access the AMD FSR 3 option within the video settings. However, a notable caveat accompanies all frame generation techniques on PC, temporarily blocking the Epic Online Services Overlay essential for crossplay functionality. Despite this limitation, players can still utilize the Epic launcher to accept invites and join friends in-game before activating frame generation settings.

Exciting news emerged from AMD itself, confirming that Naughty Dog’s iconic title, “The Last of Us Part I,” is slated for an update featuring AMD FSR 3 support. This announcement follows previous demonstrations of the substantial performance improvements achievable through AMD FSR 3, exemplified by LukeFZ’s mod, which delivered a remarkable 60-70% boost. Anticipation is high for the forthcoming native implementation, expected to offer smoother performance with minimal artifacts and glitches.

With these latest additions, the roster of PC games embracing native AMD FSR 3 support expands to an impressive total of 19 titles, including the recent inclusion of the physics-based 3D sword fighting game “Hellish Quart” in February’s patch. The growing list includes diverse genres and acclaimed franchises, from action-packed shooters like “RoboCop: Rogue City” and “Remnant II” to immersive RPG experiences and captivating simulations. As gamers eagerly anticipate future releases and updates, the integration of AMD FSR 3 continues to enrich the gaming landscape, delivering enhanced performance and visual fidelity across a broad spectrum of titles.
