An entertaining trailer has just been revealed for a new big-budget werewolf action comedy fresh out of Bollywood. The movie is called Bhediya, and it’s being marketed as India’s very first creature humor film.
In the movie, “Bhaskar gets bitten by a mythical wolf and begins to transform into a creature himself. In order to find answers about his condition and turn himself back into a human he must then team with a group of ragtag buddies before it’s too late.”
It’s clearly inspired by movies such as An American Werewolf in London, and it blends that creature feature horror with comedy, but with that rich and vibrant Bollywood flair.
The movie was directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt. It stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Deepak Dobriyal, Abhishek Banerjee, and Paalin Kabak.
Bhediya will be released in theaters on November 25, 2022. Watch the trailer below.
